Free Toontrack EZDrummer Lite....

The December issue of Computer Music magazine has a free Toontrack EZDrummer vsti with 2 drum sets (rock and cocktail) and 500 midi grooves.... thats in addition to a couple of thousand samples, a studio of software and a good beginner's mastering article. A really good issue to grab if you want a drum vsti for the price of the magazine.....

Any large retailers in the US that might stock this (i.e. Walmart?)

And Borders as well

Found it at my local magazine (about 200 different titles!) shop but with a 21$ price tag... I didn't bought it. IK Total Bundle got all my money today. All 350$ of it. ;) Dali

I should have included that in the original post. $14.99 US at any Borders or Barnes&Noble. (Well worth it...)

i'd just add it (ezdrummer lite) is not a full rock kit compliment : you get one kick, snare, ride, Tom3 and hi-hat. not bad tho. the cocktail is ok: a full set. if you've nothing else to use its certainly handy - and can't complain about the sounds. just thought i would 'fyi' :)

I subscribe to CM, great mag and even greater companion DVD. The mag is on the step side to buy, especially in Canada, but subscription price makes it worth it.
