Powerlogix 1ghz upgrade-Day one

MessageAuthor

Got myself a Powerlogix upgrade and it is very fast. Didn't have time to test much because I'm under the gun on this mix but it has opened alot of cpu space for more plug-ins. The first few hours were spent trying to get it to startup, finally tracked it down to my old Orange SCSI card that for now has been pulled. More info as I can get it together, but I have one question for y'all: I had to upgrade from 9.0.4 up to 9.2.1 and now I SEEM to get more disk fragmentation errors, anybody else?

Can't answer your question because I'm at 9.1, but could you run the "davec" plug-in test for us?? Pretty please? And let us know what your CPU speed is.

Disk Defrag: Didn't you pull out the SCSI IDEs usually more sensetive to fragments than SCSI also if you still use scsi but with another controller it can be drivers or card behavior.

M Lawrence, THe tri phase power sounds cool, but an EXTRA FAN? Sonnet upgrade doesn't run that hot, I am wondering why powerlogix had to add a fan,,,
