All three formats have the overview saved as a separate "chunk" inside them... just like the time stamps.. with sd2 files they save this data in the resource fork... which is stripped if moved to a PC formatted drive. sd2 files can only go as high as 48kHz. All formats have equivalent audio quality.. the data is identical.. just the byte order and the header information is different. Rail
