RE: time alignment of import

Thanks for the page reference and link. I had used those pages and the mode. Maybe I'm missing some aspect for automatic sync. I was/am seeking to know how to just get an automatic sync. Again, when I simply bounce to disk and bring that bounce back into the session, it has time added to the beginning. It is off by approximately 2000 samples. Visually, when the track is brought back in, its beats do not align with the original. When I use spot mode and set it to "0" as the starting point (the same point selected for the beginning of the bounce to disk), the bounced wav does not line up on import or on drag and drop. The wav after bounced to disk has time added to the beginning of it. All my other PT user friends in 6.9 etc. have no trouble just bouncing to disk and bringing the wav back automatically with perfect sync. Is there some new command in 7.1 for this result? Is there some setting that I need to enable? Thanks, DT

It can be latency introduced by Plugins included in the Bounce.

Is there any way to avoid this latency? I've been recording for over 30 years and I've just started using PT. Thanks for any ideas.

What are you bouncing & why?

I never realized how fast a slow car can be until I went to the track.
