Is there a big differents vcd&svcd

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh That explans alot thanks. Just to make sure, vcd has chapters and can ff and rw? And by pauses I mean the button pause to pause the movie.

The VCD and SVCD use the same PBC(=play back cantrol),the same FF/RF button function also the pause/still image button. However, the subtltle button is for SVCD only. The audio button can change the audio track 1 and 2(both stereo) for SVCD but only left or right channel for VCD.
