The protools part is explained in the reference manual. Print hose pages and start working. I think it is called "Synching another sequencer to protools". Good luck!

RE: Re: Mpc syn to Pro Tools

Could someone give me detail instructions on syn. a MPC 2000 to Pro Tools using midi beat clock. I have done a search and tried several ways of syn. the two but none of them work. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

which one do you want to be the master/slave? I have mine set-up so that Ptle is the master. It was pretty much just a matter of enabling the midi beat clock and making sure you have put a check in the box that says digi001. then you have to set up the mpc to be controlled by the digi midi clock. hope this helps

platinum1 I wanted pro tools to be the master and I did exactly what you said and nothing happen.

You also need to tell the MPC what is controlling it and where it's coming from.
