digi 002 rack and 192

I have a HD3 system in my studio and a 002 rack at home - I was wondering if I can use the 002 as additional 8 analog outs with my 192.. does the 002 has a standalone mode or something that I can use it via adat digital out on 192?

No standalone mode for the 002Rack... I don't think there is any way around it

so whats the cheapest way to get 8 more output for mixdown? 2nd hand 882`s ??

I know some people have had decent results using the 882's for mixdown into a summing device. I presume that's what your planning to do? There are always a few 882's on eBay for next to nothing --
