Click Stop/home resets CC

MessageAuthor

I've set preferences not to reset CC data. I have a midi track and have set volume and pan in the TCP. When I hit stop and "Go to start of project" it resets volume too high and centers pan. Pretty vexing... Any ideas?

Yup, one of Reaper's issues, it seems that it doesn't respect the preference not to reset CCs in some circumstances. Although I can't reproduce the one you particularly mention here.

Thanks Does anyone know if it's vsti specific? I'm using Halion version 1.

Nope, it's not VST specific.

I should have added, that it means the TCP volume and pan slider settings for use with midi are pretty redundant. By that, I mean you can set them a value, but, once you start/stop the track, they revert to a default setting.

How can I best express this in the FR / track bugs section, in order to get the developers to take note?
