ram vro to mpeg and then how to adjust colour and britness help

HI all I have recorded a program on tv and riped it to the pc its a ram disk so i have converted it from vro to mpeg2 and the questions is how can i edit the video without recompressing it i mean i wnat to be able to adjust colour brightnes and contrast then save it again then aurther it can you help thanks is there a littile tool out theere that will let you edit mpeg2 files colour and brightess and contrast with out recompressing it ??? thanks all

There's no "real" editing of mpeg files without recompressing. You can't adjust brightness and colors and do a "direct stream copy".

so what is the easiest way to do it then any help thanks
