mix core and hd core in one g4

is it possible to use a mix core and a hd core card in one computer! iam using both systems only for testing apogee devices not for production. so i thought to put both core cards in one computer using different startup volumes (os 9.2 for PT5.3.1 mixcore/os x for PT 6.4-6.9 hdcore) to get rid of the old g3! thanx for help

My guess is that no one has ever tried. Digi tech support would have to be the ones to give you the specific info you need. I am sure they would not advise it. But there's nothing to keep you from trying if you have money to burn.
