OT - PC equivalent to Final Cut Pro???

Hi - I am a G4 user. I have been using various version of FCP for a fewyears now and love it. I recently got a new dell laptop with an 80 gig HD and would like to be able to do some video on her now and then. Trouble is - I dont know where to start software wise. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Im shooting with a Canon XL-1 Thanks, Erik

there is no equivalent for fcp in the pc world - you will either need to go few steps down (premiere) or buy really high-end stuff (avid). for home videos though the premiere is a decent app.

Hey..... a excellent PC equal to F.C.P. I've been using F.C.P. since 2 and now use 4. Don't have Panther or a G5 for F.C.P. HD. P.T.L.E. and Avid go hand in hand!

I have used the mojo, yes.

Avid blows. I spent years on Avids and then after a week on FCP I'll never go back to Avid. Return your PC and get a Mac.
