I did something like this, but much more advanced and technical, for an engineering application. I can appreciate its uses. Well done on the GUI

I see it's uses too :) did you see the recent thread on "readoc", which turns your reaper song into a tracklist xml file, works really well, will try and find the link :) Will you make it available for download? or is it google only? maybe that's a good thing, I hate having excel installed on my audio boot lol

And have you seen schwa's "notepad" app, I have one on most tracks and one on the master, very handy (along with the usual stuff like item notes, etc..)

i do appreciate it, but i dont the huge graphic that eats all my screen estate. It only fits 2/3 on my laptop. Whoah, imagine looking at this thread on an iPhone or a weak dial up connection :)!

You could put it on google docs and share it with the band members and get them to fill in how many hours they practised and any ideas they have :)

how about I make it a web based application for community mixing? haha. I think it would be sweet. the extra columns would be "submitted by" and a "claim" button. a page with all the individual files you find something you want to work on click "claim" and it goes into a claimed slot so no one else takes it then you make your edits it would be like a support ticket system for songs. there's a lot of issues I can think of, but maybe there's some way to do this, I'm not sure. I'm gonna give it some more thought.
