What\'s 4CC ID?

PTLE was running fine on my laptop. Now sometimes it won't launch and when it does I get couldn't find 4CC ID windows when it does launch. What does this error mean? CA

4cc is a video codec. Not sure why PTLE would complain about it. Might be a good idea to run CheckDisk to make sure this isn't a symptom of directory corruption. --Steve

ladewd -- sounds like you might have a corrupted copy of VST-RTAS on there, did you just install it recently?

Yes I did. I have since uninstalled it and all is working again. Why was it corrupted and should I re-download the program? While it was installed, PTLE wouldn't boot at all but was showing in task manager using 99% of my CPU. I understand this is an issue with Pentium M's. I just bought the laptop and was setting everything up. The new version has been working flawlessly on my Mac. Cary HP Pavillion DV 1000 1G Ram 80GB HD 1.7GHz Pentium M Digi 002 and MBox PTLE 7.0cs6
