Oh, one thing I have used it for is I took a whole mess of drum samples and batch processed them by turning them all into regions ( SWS/BR: Create regions from sel. item(s) (named with take) ) after importing them all. I needed the samples to be level matched (as opposed to how they were which was natural volume from the recordings) so I ran normalization on them and re-exported them.
