Can you please post your project (.RPP) here? No media needed.

Unfortunately the FREEZE chunks in the .RPP are missing so there's nothing left to do, the info to unfreeze those tracks is gone :( Did you have problems saving the project at some point? Do you happen to have a previous version (.RPP)? Maybe a backup.
Yeah did you have any crashes or BSODs (and maybe crash logs of that in Event Viewer) when working on that project or did you have to kill the REAPER process at some point? Did anything unusual happen during the creation of the project, maybe even seemingly unrelated?
I did have to kill Reaper at one point. I think it was before I froze anything though. I also switched from x64 to x86 because some bridged plugs were behaving badly... Again, pretty sure it was before I froze anything. I think I'm going to avoid the Freeze feature until I can have some kind of assurance that this kind of thing won't happen anymore. One possibility: I did freeze the drum bus at one point, after I'd frozen the individual drum tracks. I will do an experiment to see if freezing a folder with frozen children erases the freeze data for the children.
Reaper 5.11 X64 Sorry to revive an old thread, but I have this same problem.. Cannot unfreeze tracks (option greyed out and unavailable) If any of you kind fellows would look under the hood of this session file for me for any answers, I sure would appreciate it. This is the first time that I can remember freeze not unfreezing and I use it constantly. Thanks a lot! Heres the session file:
Weird... I downloaded and fired up the session file that I posted, and all INDIVIDUAL tracks were able to unfreeze! My weirdness though was with track 10 (frozen top level folder track). ...which I was never able to unfreeze, but went back in time thru backup files and reconstructed the screwed up tracks in the session Best explanation I have is that I froze that folder track, and then messed with the tracks inside it... creating chaos? Thanks for taking a look Justin. Rock on people!
