Digi 003

Hi there... im about to buy a digi 002 soon, but does anybody now if there would be any chance of a digi 003 soon?

Probably not. NAMM just passed where Digi introduced some new products, so it's unlikely. Plus they're (hopefully) all extremely busy getting PTLE 7.1 completed for us LE folks.

It would be very sad if i buy a 002 now and the new 003 shows up next AES Show (i think digi cares more about the AES) I like what other brands like steinberg do : They advertise their upcoming products.

I mean all this talking about the 003 is very logical ( people wants to know if the messias is coming or not ) I tell you the reasons: #1 - digi002 (nice product) is 4 years old ? digi 001 was replaced at forth, right? #2 - Every digi competitor has come out with their new generation boxes this year (all firewire): - Focusrite: Saffire Pro (onboard dsp-adat-word clok) - Apogee : Ensemble (converters-adat-w-clock) - Presonus: New version for firepod (not in the website yet). There's nothing wrong with the 002, people wonders..

Another clue here: What is the big improvement of the mbox2 over the original mbox ?
